Co-writing sessions

Four sessions between 9 and 16 June 2026.

The sessions were facilitated by a senior content designer from the Capability Framework team. They involved a group of business relationship managers drawn from the wider community group who represented different levels and organisational contexts.

During the sessions, the group:

  • determined that the new role level best fit the name 'head of business relationship management', and assigned it appropriate skill proficiencies
  • determined that the current typical responsibilities for 'lead' were better suited to the 'head of', so moved them into the new level description
  • drafted a new set of typical responsibilities for 'lead' level

Kick off session 2

26 March 2026

Decided to create one new role level, either ‘principal business relationship manager’ or 'head of business relationship management'.

Scheduled co-writing sessions in the first two weeks of June.

Kick off session 1

21 January 2026

Introduction to process for developing a new role level. Discussed whether one or two role levels were needed.
